BEL DIY (Do It Yourself) : Succulents

I have been trying to get my hands on some succulents, and I finally had the chance to get some this weekend! Succulents are easy to manage, and I purchased the smaller hens and chicks from Sutherland in Pearl. The larger ones came from Callaway's, a local garden center, in Ridgeland. They were super affordable!
I forgot to take a before picture, but the after just looks so good.

A quick trip to TJ Maxx to find some new pots was successful. I ended up choosing the grey pair!
I purchased some fast-draining cactus and citrus friendly soil to re-pot them in.

So the finished products are below!
The larger pot has three different succulents. The smaller pot just has one.

You can see the different species better from this angle.

Large hen and chick with another species of succulent potted with it.

This one is my favorite, I bought the pot from Marshall's.

This hen and chick was re-potted in an old candle jar that I washed and recycled for this purpose.

I also recycled an old candle jar for this one.
The great thing about these plants is that you don't have to have a green thumb to keep them alive. Water them every week or two, and they should be just fine! I'll give an update in a few months.

If you like what you see here share, and leave a comment below!!

See you soon with more great stuff!

xoxo,

BEL
